About this role
We are hiring a Defence Analyst with deep expertise in requirements management (RM) and compliance within defence and regulated environments.
This is a subject matter expert (SME) role focused on ensuring that our platform and customer solutions align with defence standards, regulatory frameworks, and rigorous engineering practices. You will work closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to shape how requirements are defined, structured, traced, and audited in complex, compliance-driven programs.
What you’ll do
- Provide domain expertise on defence-related requirements engineering practices and compliance standards
- Define and refine best practices for requirements authoring, decomposition, traceability, and validation
- Support alignment with defence and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MIL-STD, ISO, DOORS-based processes, or equivalent)
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure features support compliance, auditability, and structured requirements workflows
- Advise on end-to-end traceability strategies across requirements, design, test, and verification artifacts
- Contribute to customer engagements by guiding on implementing compliant RM processes using our platform
- Review and improve requirements quality, consistency, and governance models
- Help develop templates, standards, and reusable frameworks for regulated industries
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in defence, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries
- Deep expertise in requirements engineering and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and verification processes in defence programs
- Experience with industry tools and methodologies (e.g., IBM DOORS, DOORS Next, or similar RM tools)
- Familiarity with standards such as MIL-STD, ISO, or equivalent regulatory frameworks
- Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into structured, actionable processes
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, and customer teams
Nice to have
- Experience supporting government or defence contractors
- Knowledge of systems engineering practices (e.g., INCOSE, MBSE concepts)
- Exposure to safety-critical or mission-critical systems development
- Experience contributing to audits, certifications, or regulatory submissions
