About the Opportunity
Quoting & Proposal Management
- Prepare customer quotations/proposals in the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Sales, PMs, and SEs) to gather necessary information to prepare quotes.
- Follow-up with Sales on quote status (pending/win/loss).
- Process signed quotes and ensure full co-ordination of vendor order processing in conjunction with project timelines (work with project managers).
Pricing & Financial Analysis
- Analyze pricing on quotes, including sell price vs. cost.
- Manage the end-to-end vendor negotiations, including taking advantage of various promotions, incentives and volume discounts.
- Assess and analysis profitability.
- Maintain and update vendor price list and customer sell price in ERP.
- Identify opportunities to improve gross profit through vendor negotiations and order consolidation.
- Provide insights into pricing trends, profitability, and winning strategies.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors.
- Issue purchase orders (POs) to vendors and track delivery status.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with vendors.
Administrative Support
- Track and manage quote lifecycle (WIP, open, closed, processed).
- Respond to pricing inquiries from internal team members.
- Provide administrative support with a strong sense of urgency.
- Develop and maintain deal desk processes, systems/tools, templates, and documentation.
- Support and train team members on deal desk processes, pricing models, and best practices while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
- Drive improvements in quoting accuracy, and workflow automation.
Other tasks as required by the business
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in sales operations, deals desk, or commercial finance roles.
- Strong understanding of pricing models, deal structures, and sales lifecycle.
- Strong communication (written and oral), problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong computer skills (Excel and Word).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and analyze financial information in detail.
- Possess a style that embodies a sense of urgency.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in the tech industry (e.g., SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or hardware/software sales) considered an asset.
Pay Range
$60,000 – $70,000 per year
