DAYTIME COMMERCIAL CLEANER
Renert School is currently seeking a high-energy, experienced cleaner to join our custodial team. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who enjoys cleaning and can maintain focus in a fast-paced working environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience (commercial cleaning an asset)
Energetic team player with meticulous attention to detail
Reliable and able to work well with minimal supervision
Dependable form of transportation
English communication skills a must
Be able to work 8 – 4pm, Mon – Friday (with opportunity to work some weekends for special events etc)
Be receptive and open to change and taking direction
Work conditions & physical capabilities:
Physically demanding including standing for extended periods
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Duties:
Day-porter duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping & vacuuming
Cleaning, sanitizing & disinfecting of washroom facilities
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures
Ensures all maintenance and safety hazards are promptly reported to the Manager to minimize risk
Takes personal responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is operated correctly and is secure at all times
Reports any maintenance issues
Laundry duties including all cleaning cloths & mop heads
ON THE JOB TRAINING WILL BE OFFERED
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
