ABSA Resin Technologies Inc. is a Plastic Compounding ISO 9001-2015 certified company. A leading Manufacturer of custom plastic resins for the injection molding industry for over 16 years. We are proudly located in Cambridge, Ontario.
We are currently recruiting for our Shipper/Receiver Position for our Dayshift. The ideal candidate should have a minimum 5+ years’ experience with capability of lifting 50 lbs. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while staying efficient and organized is key to this position. Along with having a strong work ethic, we are seeking an individual that is dependable and reliable with experience in basic computer skills and the ability to read and understand PO#’s and BOL’s.
Monday to Thursday Dayshift (4 X 10hr shifts). Start time has some flexibility to fit personal needs. EXAMPLE (6:30-4:30 / 7:30-5:30 etc)
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION
Major Tasks for this position;
Shipping/Receiving – Loading outgoing materials and offloading incoming materials to/from Suppliers and Customers. Ability to understand corresponding paperwork with accuracy in checking and labeling as necessary based on each task requirement.
Warehouse Management – Keeping all materials organized with knowledge of current inventories/locations of House Raw Materials and Customer Materials
Repacking of Materials, splitting of skids as needed
In House Quality Control testing – Sample Testing for incoming Raw Materials and Identifying Customer Material Parts by type
Additional Shipping Support – Co-ordinate shipments with Customer Service & Office Personnel, staging materials for prearranged shipments
Grinding Support – Organize/sequence material steams
Other Additional Support/ Cross Training – Overseeing blending production, assisting on the Production Line with restocking regrind feedstock and shoveling raw materials on the line
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
