We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst for a 5 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid in Bedford, NS.
The Data Services group is responsible for ensuring data is fit for purpose and accurate. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for data quality control implementation, centralized exception handling and data quality issue management. You will be a member of a dynamic, fast paced team, with a strong focus on data analysis coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop data quality rules and controls
Monitor data quality rules and controls
Investigate data exceptions
Identify the root cause of data issues
Develop solutions to address data issues
Work with various stakeholder teams to understand how data is being used to support the refinement of controls and remediation of data issues
Build and maintain strong relationships with business users at both senior and junior levels
Must haves:
Data Controls, Query Design, Microsoft Excel, Data Profiling, Pattern Recognition, SQL, Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Management Reporting, Problem Solving
Bachelor’s Degree
Nice to Have:
Python, R Programming
Masters Degree
