Location: Toronto (3 days onsite)
Salary: $120,000-$140,000
Eligibility: Canadian Citizen or PR required
We’re working with a growing organisation building out its modern data platform. They’re looking for a Data Engineer to play a key role in designing and scaling their data infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud-based warehousing and transformation.
What you will be doing:
- Build and optimise ETL and ELT pipelines
- Develop and manage data transformation workflows using dbt (open source)
- Design and implement scalable data warehouses and lakehouse architectures
- Perform data modelling to support analytics and business intelligence use cases
- Lead or contribute to the migration of legacy data into Snowflake
- Work within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
- Write and maintain robust Python and SQL scripts
What you will bring:
- Strong experience in data engineering and pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with dbt and modern data stack principles
- Proven experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
- Solid understanding of data modelling techniques
- Experience working in cloud environments
