Data Analyst – SQL – Job DescriptionShield is a risk-based authentication solution being implemented as part of the layered fraud strategyThe fraud solution uses advanced risk models and profiling to assess behavioural attributes and involves multifaceted data that requires streamlining for business needsThey will be in charge of keeping track, updated and refining the fraud data requirements for the projectThey are working with our project team to ensure their reporting needs are met and ensure documentations are translated correctly into the reportThey will have the ability to demonstrate to the business and know how to provide mock-ups and enhance documentation as required.Be part of daily stand-up sprint meetings and sprint planningData Analyst – SQL – Mandatory Skills5+ years of overall hands-on experience as a Data Analyst / Reporting Analyst3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, python and/or BigQuery5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL ServerPrior Agile work environment exposureExcellent communication skills as this contractor will be interacting with the business groupDemonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing prioritiesProven ability to learn business processes quickly and work well with business partners at different organizational levelsExceptional leadership skills to review processes and procedures to create efficiencies, eliminate duplication and provide organizational support to achieve business objectivesStrong relationship management with an ability to establish productive relationships between various leaders, departments and partners across the organizationWell-developed communication skills, including precise articulation of ideas and opinions to prepare detailed business cases and proposalsSolutions-oriented and ability to develop and create innovative solutions to critical business or organizational data issuesUndergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or another related fieldData Analyst – SQL- Preferred SkillsConfluence and JIRA experienceDocumentation experience from previous Business Analyst roles (review data mapping, creating reference documents)Prior North American Banking or FI experiencePrior User Onboarding experience onto a Power BI Server would be an assetData Analyst – SQL – Assignment Start Date ASAP – 4 months to start Data Analyst – SQL – Assignment Location Toronto, ON – Work Hybrid
