Passenger Service Representatives/Steward – Positions are on board the vessels
Desired qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, food service, cashier duties and cleaning duties.
- Experience in the passenger ship industry would be an asset.
- Experience working with cash/credit/debit and point of sale systems.
- Experience with reservation systems would be an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of safe operations.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Salary: $25.60 – $26.22 per hour (depending on position)
NOTICE: In order to work on Canadian ships, seafarers must be legally allowed to work in Canada (through citizenship or permanent residency)
Schedule:
- 12-hour shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime
- Shift Differential
- Travel Compensation
Experience:
- Cash handling: 1 year (preferred)
NOTICE: In order to work on Canadian ships, seafarers must be legally allowed to work in Canada (through citizenship, permanent residency, or a visa allowing work), and hold either Transport Canada – issued Certificates of Competency, or Transport Canada – endorsed certificates from the following countries: Ukraine, France, Norway, Australia, Georgia.
