Passenger Service Representatives/Steward – Positions are on board the vessels

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service, food service, cashier duties and cleaning duties.
  • Experience in the passenger ship industry would be an asset.
  • Experience working with cash/credit/debit and point of sale systems.
  • Experience with reservation systems would be an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of safe operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Salary: $25.60 – $26.22 per hour (depending on position)

NOTICE: In order to work on Canadian ships, seafarers must be legally allowed to work in Canada (through citizenship or permanent residency)

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime
  • Shift Differential
  • Travel Compensation

Experience:

  • Cash handling: 1 year (preferred)

NOTICE: In order to work on Canadian ships, seafarers must be legally allowed to work in Canada (through citizenship, permanent residency, or a visa allowing work), and hold either Transport Canada – issued Certificates of Competency, or Transport Canada – endorsed certificates from the following countries: Ukraine, France, Norway, Australia, Georgia.
