Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate outbound shipments.
Input data and run reports from warehouse management systems (WMS); prepare, audit, and deliver/receive documentation pertaining to Import and Export, Transportation.
Research and maintain data contained in WMS, including documentation, booking information, and Pallet tags.
Correspond daily with warehouse personnel, customers and/or vendors to make confirmations, status updates, service changes, or to report and resolve variances.
Coordinate pre-trip compliance and liase with vendors for equipment maintenance.
Investigate and respond to customer or warehouse concerns and questions, while providing a high level of internal and external customer service.
Examine incoming shipment documents and rectify with shipper/consignee.
Review and verify incoming documentation, for accuracy and completeness and prepare documents for receipt of goods.
Responsible for accurate and timely order processing to support the efficient operation of the site.
Physically verify incoming truck seals and presented cross board paperwork.
Occasional cycle counting and inventory control duties.
Accurate record keeping.
Verify inbound loads and maintain accurate arrival data in WMS.
Ensure all documentation is on hand prior to receiving or booking any load into the warehouse.
Assist with equipment records and maintain concise records for pre-trip and equipment repairs.
Liase with floor crew to report any equipment or equipment maintenance issues.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strongly preferred: 3+ years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management industry.
Warehouse experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Physical ability to: communicate clearly and accurately; frequently move items weighing up to 25 pounds; operate a computer and other office equipment.
First Aid Certificate Level 1 (will train suitable candidate).
