Customer Service Representative Jobs in Kitchener at William Knell & Company Limited

Provide service and sales to customers, providing information, generating quotes, sales orders and arranging product delivery. The sales and service may be in person, by phone or on-line. Customers may be commercial accounts, contractors or individuals.
The individual serves the needs of the customers for the Company, but may have a greater focus on one group of customers or products than the other. In this case – Door & Hardware and Lock & Security customers.

Provide professional, courteous and timely service for customers with respect to our products and services…building trust and relationships that will maximize sales.
Determine customer requirements based on the type of work they are undertaking, interpreting their wording for cross-referencing against industry terminology and acceptable product nomenclature.
Ensure that proposed products and applications can be done while still meeting barrier-free codes, fire-life safety codes and general building codes, as applicable.
Inform each customer, where possible and appropriate, to help them with future project requirements, applications and codes, thereby making future consultations with the customer more efficient.
Provide and process quotes and purchases in a timely fashion; create and manage sales orders, and ensure that product, pricing and delivery information is accurate.
Support contract or outside sales with data entry, coordination or as a liaison with their customers, as applicable.
Participate in shipping and receiving responsibilities, as applicable.
Keep the service counter and showroom neat, clean, organized and stocked, as applicable.

This position may also include:

Cutting new or duplicate keys and stamp with identification.
Re-key locks.
Disassemble locks; repair and or replace worn components

REQUIREMENTS

High School Graduation Diploma.
Computer literacy with experience relative to Microsoft Office products and inventory management programs.
Understanding of routine work procedures in several areas learned in on the job training.
Excellent administrative and communication skills with proficiency in speaking and writing.
Product or industry knowledge and mechanically inclined is an assett
