We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-driven Customer Engagement Specialist to join our growing Verizon 5G sales team in Riverside and the neighboring communities. We represent Verizon, one of the most recognized and trusted names in telecommunications, and we are expanding our Customer Engagement Specialist team to meet the growing demand for Verizon’s 5G Home Internet, 5G Ultra Wideband, and next-generation wireless plans across the greater Riverside area. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about technology, thrive in face-to-face environments, and are ready to be on the front lines of one of the most significant connectivity shifts of our generation, the nationwide rollout of Verizon 5G.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will:
- Deliver in‑person Verizon 5G sales presentations to local customers across Riverside and nearby communities
- Provide clear competitor comparisons so customers understand Verizon’s 5G value
- Assess each customer’s lifestyle and budget to recommend the best Verizon 5G solution
- Hit and surpass targets through high‑quality customer engagement and professional conduct
- Engage in ongoing training and team meetings to maintain strong sales skills
- Log daily activity and outcomes to support team visibility and territory development
Customer Engagement Specialist Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; telecom or sales experience a plus but not required
- Strong people skills with the ability to connect quickly in residential settings
- Tech‑minded with enthusiasm for 5G connectivity and Verizon’s regional network growth
- Goal‑driven self‑starter who manages schedules and consistently meets sales targets
- Coachable, upbeat attitude focused on creating great customer experiences every time
- Full‑time availability with flexibility on schedules
Pay: $52,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
