Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Maintain floors through regular care, including buffing and waxing as needed.
- Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as necessary for events or cleaning purposes.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Will also be needed to run errands and pick up parts for our manufacturing shop.
- You will also be responsible for various landscaping to the grounds, including but not limited to cutting grass, weed eating, and clear flowerbeds.
- Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
Job Type: Full-time
