Position Summary
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of cannabis cultivation and production. This role assists with plant care, harvesting, sanitation, inventory tracking, and maintaining cultivation environments in accordance with company procedures and state compliance regulations.
This position plays an important role in ensuring plant health, operational efficiency, and product quality throughout the cultivation cycle.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with cloning, transplanting, watering, pruning, trimming, staking, and general plant care
- Support harvesting, drying, curing, and post-harvest processing activities
- Monitor plants for pests, disease, and overall health concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking and data entry within state-mandated systems
- Clean and sanitize cultivation rooms, equipment, tools, and workspaces
- Assist with monitoring cultivation systems including lighting, irrigation, and climate control
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and state cannabis compliance requirements
- Support team goals and daily operational priorities in a fast-paced cultivation environment
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a strong team culture
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Cannabis, cultivation, agricultural, greenhouse, or production experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and evolving environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must meet state requirements to obtain cannabis employment eligibility
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and lift throughout the shift
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in humid environments with exposure to plant materials, dust, and cultivation-related aromas
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
