Cut To Length Line Operator
Key Job Responsibilities
- Set up new work orders and operate the cut-to-length machine
- Understand computer commands on equipment
- Diagnose and correct machine problems, report equipment failures to supervisor, and assist in the maintenance of the machine
- Maintain a safe work environment while maximizing productivity, and following safety guidelines (includes wearing proper protective equipment)
- Perform required housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean and safe working area
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience running a computer operated machine such as, a CNC machine Cut-to- Length Line Leveller (A MUST)
- Previous experience with precision machines is preferred
- Basic maths skills and functional literacy in reading, writing and calculation is required
- Must be dependable, and must have own transportation
- Familiarity with general computer programs and operating computerized machinery
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated to be considered
- Ability to work individually, as well as a team and work under general supervision
- Shift Work Required
