Job Description
· Blundon’s Trucking and Excavating Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Crusher Spread Operator
· This will be at the Valentine Gold Mine.
· Rotational shift (14×14) with camp accommodations provided
Qualifications & Abilities
· Completion of High School diploma or equivalent is a requirement
· 5+ years of experience operating a mobile crusher spread or similar aggregate equipment
· Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
· Strong understanding of aggregate production and material specifications
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Work outdoors in all weather conditions
· Current Drivers and Criminal record check abstract required
· Must pass Medical and Drug/Alcohol Test.
· Willingness to adhere to both workplace & site-specific procedures and policies
· Must be able to work unsupervised
Duties and Responsibilities
· Operate mobile crushing and screening equipment safely and efficiently
· Monitor and adjust crusher settings for optimal performance and material specs
· Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and basic repairs
· Coordinate with ground personnel and loaders to ensure smooth workflow
· Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise
· Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
· Must be well versed in construction site protocols, rules and code of conduct
· Comply with all safety policies and procedures
· Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly
