The Opportunity
This is an invitation to join our team as the Creative & Brand Strategy Lead, one that puts your design instincts, brand thinking, and creative strategy skills at the center of how 7 Knots shows up for clients and in the market.
This role has two equally important dimensions: owning 7 Knots Digital's own brand presence and marketing and elevating the visual and creative quality of what we deliver for clients. It sits at the heart of the agency's next phase of growth.
What You'll Own
1. 7 Knots Brand & Marketing Ownership
- Own and manage 7 Knots Digital's social media presence — LinkedIn primarily, with a view to expanding channels
- Develop and execute a content and social strategy that positions 7 Knots as a leading voice in B2B event marketing
- Create and maintain a consistent visual identity across all 7 Knots external touchpoints — proposals, pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers, and social assets
- Build and maintain a brand style guide and asset library for internal use
- Support the Head of Client Partnerships & Growth in creating compelling new business materials and presentations
- Contribute to thought leadership content that amplifies 7 Knots' expertise in the market
2. Client Creative & Design Support
- Develop visual assets, email design templates, and landing page layouts for client campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all client deliverables
- Work with the Content Strategy & Operations Manager and content writers to elevate the visual execution of email campaigns — not just copy
- Build and maintain client-specific design and brand asset libraries
- Support the creation of client-facing reports, performance decks, and QBR presentations
- Act as a creative quality bar for all outgoing client work, if it doesn't look right, you say so
3. Creative Strategy & Audience Thinking
- Bring audience-first creative thinking into campaign briefing conversations
- Contribute to persona and messaging framework development from a visual and UX angle — how does the design reinforce the message?
- Advise on email UX, layout hierarchy, and design choices that improve open rate and click-through performance
- Stay ahead of design and marketing trends relevant to B2B event marketing and bring fresh ideas to the team
What We're Looking For
Required
- Proven experience in brand strategy, creative direction, and graphic/digital design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual identity work, digital assets, and marketing collateral
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to social media and content marketing for a brand
- Ability to work across multiple clients and internal projects simultaneously without losing creative quality
- Proficient in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Strong written communication skills, you understand how copy and design work together
- Calm, collaborative, and professional under deadline pressure
Preferred
- Background in or exposure to B2B marketing, events, or media
- Experience contributing to pitch decks or investor/new business materials
- Familiarity with email design and HTML basics
- UX or web design sensibility
