About the Role
Stone Surfaces is an established stone fabrication company in Boise specializing in custom countertops, vanities, and architectural stonework. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Stone Fabrication Installer. In this role you will learn the hands-on skills required to fabricate and install natural and engineered stone products. If you’re someone who’s strong, good with your hands, and want to build a stable career in the trades then we hope to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
· Install countertops, vanities, backsplash and more in a variety of stone materials
· Apply precise and seamless caulking during installs, island seams and repairs
· Occasionally assist in cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing the stone
· Follow safety procedures and maintain a positive work environment
· Prepare install materials according to project specifications
· Learn to read shop drawings and templates
Qualifications
· Ideal candidates will have a solid caulking skills and caulking material knowledge
· Strong work ethic, time management and reliability
· Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and perform physical labor
· Comfortable working with tools and machinery
· Ability to obtain forklift operation certification
Preferred Skills
