Position Overview
The Count Team Supervisor supervises count team members to ensure the accuracy of the daily drops and counts. The count team leader is to promote and maintain the utmost integrity and highest caliber patron service to all internal and external patrons of the Casino. The Count Team Supervisor ensures count team members adhere to rules and regulations set forth by the company, the department and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC), and to ensure confidentiality within the company maintained.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous count team experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Maintain a valid AGLC license
- Responsible for the safeguard of casino assets of the assigned area
- Provide daily supervision of the count room and the drop process
- Perform training and evaluation of drop staff
- Monitor procedures relating to the operation of the count room and their compliance with the approved system of accounting, department procedures and Internal Controls, ensuring that all documentation is neat, concise and accurate
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
- To logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work assignments or tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents, receive/follow/apply instructions
- Work in a team environment
- Possess high-quality interpersonal skills
- Set and achieve high standards of performance and customer service skills
- Ability to multi task under time constraints
- Perform basic math skills and use problem solving skills
- The position is physically demanding, ability to stand for extended periods of time; bend, stoop or kneel as required
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy objects of approximately 40 pounds
- Shift starts at 6am
