Summary

TELUS Health Workplace Support Program provides the industry’s earliest interventions for mental health issues for employees whose needs go beyond the short-term support of the EAP or who benefit from a disability case management treatment plan.

The programs offer assessment and professional counseling to support a return to full productivity. These clinical interventions focus on issues that require longer-term care, more specialized, or intensive care, all aimed at preventing or better managing performance problems, absences, and workplace disabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing specialized counseling to adult clients with various mental health, addiction, or work-related issues.

Conducting client needs assessments and, in conjunction with them, setting goals and developing a strategy to achieve them according to the program’s guidelines.

Ensuring administrative follow-up on cases, adhering to timelines, and using provided clinical forms.

Profile sought:

Master’s/Doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, sexology, psychoeducation, art therapy, or career guidance.

Psychotherapist license issued by the Ordre des psychologues du Québec is required, except for psychologists.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

Experience or training in mental health, substance abuse, or addiction.

Ability to

assess psycho-social issues and develop treatment plans.

Ability to

handle high-risk or crisis situations such as suicide or homicide risk, domestic violence, child protection, and public safety.
