Duties and responsibilities
SAMPLE
Works with the Sales team and vendors to coordinate sample requests/orders.
Collaborates with vendors to request sample approval, coordinate delivery, and manage the billing of samples.
Prepares fiscal billing reports by working in conjunction with the Vendor Receivables team.
Identifies opportunities to improve process, reporting, metrics and effectiveness of the sample program.
Responsible for the execution and management of the food show/sales meeting sample process.
Arranges sample requirements to support marketing activities.
Performs other duties as assigned to support VBM.
CREDIT
Coordinates product quality credits with a front to back overview (review, resolve, bill , correct for future) for all market segments of the business.
Collaborates with our Vendor/Broker community to validate and approve quality related credits and cover costs.
Interacts with Inventory Control/Quality Assurance to manage activity around quality issues.
Engages with warehouse, transportation, and sales to facilitate best practices and training surrounding quality credits to improve efficiencies.
Prepares fiscal billing reports by working in conjunction with the Vendor Receivables team.
Identifies opportunities to improve process, reporting, metrics and effectiveness of product quality credits.
Performs other duties as assigned to support VBM.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
High level of verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Must be a team player, and have collaborative working relationships
Strong attention to detail
Effective at analyzing and interpreting data
Excellent customer service skills
