Current Opportunity –Coordinator, Contract ServicesResponsibilitiesAre you a dedicated and skilled individual with a passion for contract services? We want you on our team! We are currently seeking a Coordinator, Contract Services to arrange and prepare standard contracts for our valued Client-Partners, including those in construction and professional services.As the ideal candidate, you’ll be responsible for:

Provide expert advice to Client-Partners on all aspects of procurement

Review and organize Client-Partner information for submission to the contract authority

Create and manage procurement documents

Evaluate tender submissions for compliance and facilitate proposal assessments

Recommend procurement initiation, process decisions, and contract awards to the contract authority

Lead contract negotiations with proponents

Address inquiries from bidders

Foster productive communication with Client-Partners and industry, including providing feedback to unsuccessful bidders

Prepare Notices of Proposed Procurement

Cultivate and sustain effective relationships within our organization, with industry stakeholders, the Client-Partners, and stakeholders

Ensure that quality standards meet corporate and Client-Partner expectations

Here are the qualifications we’re looking for:

A college diploma in architecture, engineering technology, or a related field with four years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications

Proficiency in using applicable computer software and operating systems

Application of project and risk management techniques

Knowledge of best practices, methods, trends, and legislation in procurement

Familiarity with DCC and Client-Partner procurement processes and procedures

Understanding of government policies and trade agreements

Proficiency in project and risk management principles
