Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Cook. You will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring food safety in our kitchen. This position is ideal for those with a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to providing excellent service.
Duties:
– Order items for the kitchen- (food cost)
– Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
– Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality of food
– Cook and prepare meals according to established standards
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
– Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
– Handle food with care to prevent cross-contamination
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
– Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
– Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
