Join us at Cedar Haven as our Cook, where you’ll research, plan, and prepare daily meals and snacks that meet both municipal health regulations and the high standards of Union Gospel Mission. With a trauma-informed approach, you’ll bring awareness to the role of food in health and recovery, while also teaching program participants essential cooking skills and safety. Collaborate with our Manager, Kitchen Services, and participate in strategic planning to support Cedar Haven’s food service. You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
The starting range for this position is $21.61 to 23.61 per hour.
