Cook Jobs in Winlaw at Pennydale Junction Restaurant
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cook to join our team for the summer season from mid-April/early May to the end of August/mid-September at our golf course restaurant. Candidates must have access to a personal vehicle, as there is no public transportation available.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food items in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. The ideal candidate has previous line-cooking experience, can follow precise recipes and cooking standards, and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
Tasks
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
