Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning to ensure a diverse and appealing selection of dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Handle food items safely and responsibly, adhering to all food handling regulations.
- Provide exceptional service during meal times, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing culinary skills in various settings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
- Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in cooking techniques and knife skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
- Experience in meal preparation, catering, and serving is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when needed.
