About Yoke Group
Yoke Group is a growing real estate development and property management company based in Hamilton. We currently manage ~125 units and are scaling to ~200+ units within the next year.
We are moving from an entrepreneurial operation to a structured, systems-driven company and are looking for a strong finance lead to support that growth.
The Role
We are hiring a Controller / Finance Lead to take ownership of our financial operations.
This is a hands-on role focused on:
- cash flow management
- financial reporting
- real estate and construction finance
This is not a passive reporting position — we are looking for someone who takes ownership and drives outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
- Managing mortgage renewals and lender relationships
- Overseeing construction draws and project funding
- HST filings and compliance
- TMI reconciliations (commercial properties)
- Improving financial systems and processes
- Overseeing bookkeeping (AP/AR, reconciliations)
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10+ years in accounting / finance
- Experience in real estate, property management, or development
- Strong cash flow and financial operations experience
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growing company
- CPA preferred

Compensation
- $90,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)
