Express SRG is recruiting for a Controller for a small distributor in Kitchener, ON. Reporting directly to the President; this role will oversee administrative tasks, financial activities, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

* Responsibilities (Not limited to :)Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue
Recognition
.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting of variances.
Prepare and publish accurate monthly financial statements.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure the
quality control
of financial transactions and reporting.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
Manage purchasing administration and coordination.
Oversee human resource administration.
Fulfill any additional controller duties as required.
Qualifications:
5
-7 years of senior accounting experience; supervisory experience is needed
CPA designation is an asset
Previous experience from logistics environment is a definite asset
Advanced MS Excel skills
