CGC Inc. is currently recruiting aContinuous ImprovementCoordinator for our Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations, based in Surrey, British Columbia.

It’s a permanent and full-time position, offering achallengingopportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their technical and analytical abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.

Duties and responsibilities of theContinuous ImprovementCoordinator include:

· Responsible for drivingContinuous Improvementstrategies and principles throughout Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

· Ability to applyContinuous Improvementmethodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and LEAN to systematically eliminate waste and reduce process variation.

· Ensures effectivecollaborationandcommunicationto keep plantleadershipapprised of program status.

· Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy.

· Coordinatescontinuous improvementprojects within the Plant.

· Positionscontinuous improvementinitiatives throughout the plant by fostering strongcollaboration. Includes working effectively with cross functional teams.

· Effectively develop, analyze, and improve the LEAN Management system.

· Executes and trains others to executecontinuous improvementactivities such as (A3’s, Gemba Walks, Reflection Meetings, Kaizen, 5s).

· Track, monitor, and report metrics associated with Reflection Boards.

· Lead efforts for Project Home and 5S improvements.

· Responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinatingSafety Training.

Qualifications:

· Able to attend and applyContinuous ImprovementFundamentals Training.

· Preference to those with previousContinuous Improvementexperience.

· A minimum of two years experience in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or distribution is strongly preferred.

· Demonstratedleadership potential, particularly aroundchange managementand building high functioning teams.

· Strong business orientation, including financial, mathematical, and statistical analysis skills.

· Effective problem-solver who isresults-orientedand able to foster support for change.

· Proven organizational andproject managementskills.

· IT competency in Microsoft Office programs.

· Must be proactive, analytical, and process driven.

· Proven organizational skills, including time andproject managementcapability.

· Able to inspire and motivate others.

· Must be able to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around common goals.

· Must be a people andresults-orientedindividual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the dailywork environment.
