Consultant, Records Management You’ll be joining our banking client’s Enterprise Security, Architecture, Analytics and Fraud team. The client’s Architecture, Data & Analytics is a business strategy driven function that coordinates data and records management, analytics, governance and architecture activities across the enterprise.

• Strong understanding of Data Life Cycle Management

• Understanding business requirements and how to translate them to technology

• Excellent presentation skills

• ARMA certification

Job Description:

The Enterprise Data & Records Management Office (EDRMO) is an oversight function that delivers best practice and tools to help best manage data and records. This will help the enterprise achieve its goals of:

• Making informed and effective business decisions

• Sound risk management in support of strategic objectives

• Accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting

• A competitive advantage through enhanced client experience,

innovative

• Implementing clear accountability

• Proactively manage risk by leveraging repeatable and measurable processes

• Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Data & Record Services, this role is accountable for supporting the development and implementation of the Enterprise Data Governance Program.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify, develop, implement and maintain operational process enhancements to the Data & Records Management Program to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the governance and control framework; equipping decision makers with accurate and timely data and records risk assessments

• Provide guidance and consultative advice to Senior Records Officers and delivery teams in understanding and interpreting requirements related to Data Management Lifecycle, including identification, retention, preservation and destruction of Records.

• Support the implementation of compliance monitoring activities, providing recommendations, and reporting suitable for various levels of management.

• Participate in the development, maintenance and review of the Records Management Policy, related Standards and procedures to ensure currency, alignment with the banks strategy, legal, regulatory and business requirements.

• Gather, validate and document business requirements for assigned projects to ensure maximization of operational efficiency, data currency, integrity and consistency with organization’s strategic direction.
