The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with acquired brain injuries. As a Consultant Brain Injury Medicine Specialist, you will assess patients with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, develop individualized treatment plans, and oversee rehabilitation strategies aimed at maximizing recovery and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patients with various types of brain injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and anoxic injuries
• Develop and implement personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Manage medical therapies and prescribe appropriate medications
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
• Collaborate effectively with neurologists, rehabilitation therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families about brain injury management and recovery processes
• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in brain injury medicine to inform clinical practice

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completion of residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, or equivalent
• Board certification or eligibility in Brain Injury Medicine
• Proven experience as a Brain Injury Medicine Specialist
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in brain injury care
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
