POSITION SUMMARY
As a Site Supervisor at Pro Drywall Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day on-site operations, managing trades, ensuring quality control, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget while working closely with the company owner. This role requires hands-on construction experience, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication with both clients and team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities for residential and commercial projects
- Co-ordinate scheduling, managing workers and deliveries
- Maintain quality control and ensure work is performed to company standards
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and materials
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Conduct regular site quality control checks and provide progress reports to management
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the construction phase
- Perform hands on site work when necessary to get the job done
- Perform material counts for order and carefully track materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Work collaboratively with project managers and office staff
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently in Canada and with a legal right to work (MANDATORY)
- Own tools
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with reliable transportation (needs to be able to transport materials)
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 5 years of field experience (minimum 2 in Canada) supervising residential and commercial projects (both renovation and new build)
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, specs and contracts
- Solution oriented attitude and on-site problem-solver, able to adapt to changing project demands
- Demonstrated leadership managing crews on residential and commercial projects
- Proficient in using smartphones/tablets for job tracking, communication, and documentation
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards and environmental best practices in Alberta
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to lead diverse fields crews
- Spanish language knowledge is a plus

- Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour (based on experience)
