Job Summary: The Site Foreman will oversee and coordinate the daily activities on a construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Foreman is responsible for managing a crew of construction workers, enforcing safety regulations, and working closely with the superintendents, subcontractors, and crews to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

· Oversee the day-to-day operations on a construction site.

· Lead and supervise a team of workers to ensure they adhere to safety guidelines, quality standards, and project timelines.

· Provide direction and guidance to team members, assigning tasks and responsibilities.

· Foster a positive and collaborative working environment to enhance productivity and morale.

Quality Control:

· Enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.

· Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.

Safety Compliance:

· Enforce safety protocols and regulations that all team members adhere to safety regulations.

· Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.

· Investigate and report accidents or incidents promptly.

Resource Management:

· Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.

Communication:

· Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, clients, inspectors, and testing companies.

· Communicate project updates, changes, and expectations to the team.

Problem Solving:

· Address and resolve issues that may arise during construction, such as material shortages, equipment breakdowns, or staffing problems, while minimizing project delays.

· Collaborate with superintendents to find effective solutions.

Documentation:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.

· Submit daily timesheets

Training and Development:

· Provide training for new team members and ensure that existing staff members receive ongoing training as needed.

· Foster a learning environment to enhance skills and knowledge within the team.

Qualifications:

· Experience – At least 5 years of experience in construction, with at least two (2) years in Supervising experience or foreman role.

· Education – High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications or technical training in construction management or a related field is a plus.

Skills:

· In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

· Problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

· The role may involve standing, walking, and working in various weather conditions.

· The ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads may be required.

· Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
