Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, paving, and site preparation tasks efficiently.
- Drive dump trucks and other commercial vehicles safely to transport materials across construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with construction activities including site clearing, material handling, and equipment setup to ensure smooth project workflows.
- Support foremen and supervisors by executing assigned tasks accurately and reporting progress or issues promptly.
- Contribute to horizontal drilling operations and tanker work as needed for utility installation or excavation projects.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through routine inspections and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators (including Caterpillar), dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in hauling materials using dump trucks or tanker trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction site experience with familiarity in paving, horizontal drilling, or utility installation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

Pay: $18.00 – $50.00 per hour
