Duties
- Assist with the cleanup of industrial construction sites, ensuring debris and waste are properly disposed of or recycled in accordance with safety regulations.
- Handle and transport construction materials using manual techniques and power tools, ensuring safe lifting and movement practices.
- Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to identify material locations and understand project requirements.
- Operate power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, drilling, or assembling materials as needed.
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures safely to access work areas or perform site inspections.
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all team members.
- Support the implementation of respiratory protection protocols and other personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements during hazardous tasks.
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards.
- Manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently.
- Experience with climbing ladders or scaffolding in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of respiratory protection procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret technical instructions clearly on-site.
Requirements
- Previous construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must comply with all jobsite safety requirements
