Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Carpenter/Laborer, where you’ll play a vital role in transforming blueprints into reality! Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of projects
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools
- Frame walls, install siding, roofing, doors, cabinets, fixtures, and other structural elements with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining high standards of quality
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, drywall finishing, plastering, and stucco application
- Fabricate custom components in the shop or on-site as needed for specific project requirements
- Support restoration efforts including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and structural repairs
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure construction environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with familiarity in framing, trim carpentry, roofing, or siding installation
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and CNC machinery preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with schematics for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and blueprint reading for precise project execution
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged physical activity in various weather conditions
- Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation, tile laying, flooring installation or cabinetry is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites; OSHA certification is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and industry standards
