As a Concrete Plant Laborer, you will assist with the operation of concrete mixing equipment, support fabrication and manufacturing processes, and ensure that all production standards are met with enthusiasm and attention to detail. Responsibilities.
- Assist with the setup and operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and other machinery used in concrete production.
- Support fabrication tasks including welding, machining, and interpreting technical drawings using CAD software.
- Load raw materials into mixers and storage areas safely using forklifts or other heavy equipment.
- Follow safety standards rigorously during all phases of production, including power tool safety and heavy lifting protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform minor repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse or plant area to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with concrete mixer operation, concrete finishing techniques, and mixture design principles.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, or other machinery used in construction sites or plants.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes including welding, machining, and interpreting CAD drawings.
- Understanding of safety standards in production environments including power tools, welding safety, and heavy lifting procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
