The Concrete Labourer is responsible for assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete for various construction projects. This role involves mixing concrete, setting forms, and ensuring proper handling and placement techniques. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for achieving high-quality results and maintaining safety on the job site.

Job responsibilites

The ideal candidates will work as part of a production crew in some aspects of pre-cast concrete production, i.e. stripping and setting up of forms, pulling strand, helping with stressing, pouring and vibrating concrete, basic concrete finishing. The pay is from $18 -$21 hourly.

Pour concrete for walls, lane-ways Etc.

Understand basics of quality control

Clean work space on a regular basis

Attach hardware setup

Loading and unloading trucks

Job requirements

Experience working with hand tools

Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Safety is highest priority

Hazards include noise, dust, and heavy equipment

Must be open to work in all weather conditions

Must have good organization skills

Reliable, highly motivated, Flexible, adaptable to change with a strong work ethic

Must have Steel-toed safety boots

Must have willingness to learn, take initiative, and work as a part of the team

Must have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Must be able to obtain a valid police check
