Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, level surfaces.
- Set up and dismantle formwork and rebar frameworks according to blueprints and schematics.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on-site.
- Install rebar reinforcement for concrete structures, ensuring proper placement and securement.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and layout plans.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving materials and equipment around the site.
- Support masonry, stucco, plastering, flooring installation, tile laying, and other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete or related trades such as masonry or carpentry.
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, and rebar installation processes.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual labor safely.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites and use of personal protective equipment.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- We will train any employee, but it is beneficial to have some type of experience in order to start at the higher rate.
- Additional skills in roofing, renovation work, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, welding, or restoration are a plus but not required. Pay: $18.00 – $30.07 per hour
