Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to concrete finishing and installation. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in carpentry, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
Duties:
– Prepare surfaces for concrete placement by cleaning, leveling, and compacting
– Set up concrete forms and ensure they are properly aligned
– Pour and spread concrete using a variety of tools and techniques
– Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools
– Apply curing compounds or sealants to protect the finished surface
– Repair damaged concrete structures or surfaces as needed
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
– Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
– Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
– Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
– Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in concrete finishing
– Experience with concrete mixers, drywall, masonry, plaster, flooring installation, and frame carpentry is a plus
– Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is preferred
Skills:
– Attention to detail and precision in finishing work
– Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
– Strong physical stamina for working in demanding conditions (lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods)
– Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
