Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring smooth and durable results on various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as experience with related construction skills. The Concrete Finisher will work closely with other trades to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve a smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing finish
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery related to concrete placement and finishing
- Install rebar and formwork according to schematics and blueprints to prepare for concrete pouring
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform masonry work, including caulking, restoration, and flooring installation as needed
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and other preparatory tasks for concrete placement
- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces to meet industry standards and project specifications
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for material handling and site preparation
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction equipment operation
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and schematics reading for precise execution
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for accurate project implementation
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation related to concrete work
- Skills in caulking, flooring installation, renovation projects, and general construction practices
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in a construction environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across trades

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
