Your role includes mentoring unregulated caregivers while ensuring excellent care practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized, goal-oriented nursing care
• Evaluate and adjust resident care plans as necessary
• Foster continuous, effective communication with residents and families
• Educate and direct unregulated care staff on best practices
• Ensure accuracy in clinical assessments and documentation
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse with active provincial certification
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
