Community Patrol Officer

Regular Full-Time

Are you looking for regular full-time work performing field and administrative work? Our Bylaw team is seeking a regular
full-time Community Patrol Officer who will focus on Traffic Bylaw, Animal Control Bylaw and completing tasks for the
District of Squamish Animal Shelter. This position involves conducting proactive patrols, educating the public on
enforcement matters and assisting with the care and handling of dogs in the District’s care.

Who you are:You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to diffuse conflict, supernatural organizational
capabilities, a love for working outdoors and a basic knowledge of adjudication procedures. This position requires the
ability to obtain and maintain an RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance, valid Class 5 driver’s license, and two years’
experience in a municipal regulatory capacity.
