Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000 based on experience
We have an all-new opportunity ofCommunications Specialistto support the People & Culture team! We’re looking for a curious, enthusiastic and engaging storyteller to work with the Communications Manager to Raise the Bar on communications between franchisees, the COBS Bread Support Office team members, and retail bakery staff. Under People & Culture, the Communications team and Human Resources team work closely together to Cultivate a Performance Culture through learning and engagement across the organization.
Internal Communications & Engagement
In this role, you’ll be:
Supporting the brand internally to raise the bar on communications for our three primary stakeholder groups: franchisees, support office employees, and retail bakery staff
Storytelling – you have a knack for seeing opportunities to tell stories everywhere you look and have a plan of how you’d like to share them, whether it’s through video, a graphic, or an internal blog post.
Developing a communications plan to celebrate individual and business-related milestones and achievements that cultivate culture of performance.
Developing and executing against content calendar and creating plans around initiatives to boost engagement of stakeholder groups through internal campaigns
Overseeing the development and management of our weekly CRUMBS newsletter on SharePoint and identify opportunities to improve/enhance readership
Providing support with internal presentations including creating PowerPoints and more
Supporting on scoping and implementing new communications tools
Supporting on internal project communications, such as internal awards programs, Great Place to Work™ awards, Town Halls, Staff Meetings, and more.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
2-3+ years of direct experience in a communications coordinator role
Degree or certification in marketing, communications and/or public relations
Knowledge of internal communication channels and tools such as Canva and Microsoft365 suite including PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Viva Engage
Experience creating and executing on internal campaigns
Video creation from story boarding, filming and editing with basic tools such as PremiereRush or Canva
Impeccable grammar skills and attention to detail
Enthusiasm and creativity
Eye for aesthetics in all internal comms materials
Can work effectively independently and as part of a team
Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and ensure they are clearly communicated to an audience
Excellent written and communication skills
Highly effective prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet deadlines
Proven experience in successful internal & external stakeholder management
