Reporting to the VP, Communications and Engagement, the Communications and Engagement Manager will support various projects and initiatives for key client files, as well as other agency projects.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and implement multi-channel strategic

communication

plans and strategies for client programs and projects

Work with other team members to support the development of high-quality communications materials that may include videos, presentations, print and digital materials, and websites Write and edit a variety of communications materials such as blog posts, information brochures, Q&A documents, key message documents, backgrounders, and other supporting collateral Support internal and external meetings by coordinating meeting invites, taking meeting minutes and producing meeting reports, including using data entry software to track stakeholder interactions Meet with clients, partners and stakeholders in-person when required and support the facilitation of group meetings Perform research and information gathering to inform communications and engagement programs and materials, including the development of stakeholder lists Coordinate photo or video shoots on-site as required Support the planning logistics for media events, meetings, ground-breaking ceremonies, hospitality events, and other events Work with various business leaders, subject matter experts, and senior executives as required Support

senior management

on issues management and crisis communications

Perform media monitoring, and contribute to issues management solutions

May be required to attend meetings and events outside of regular work hours on occasion

What you bring to the role:

Completed a university or college-level program in a communications-related discipline (ie: business, marketing, communications, or journalism)5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, engagement and/or related roles Demonstrated experience executing stakeholder engagement and/or Indigenous engagement, ideally for infrastructure projects
