In this part-time role, you will report to the Telecommunications Manager while providing exceptional customer service at General, Birchmount, or Centenary hospitals. Your responsibilities will include handling emergency codes, managing alarm panels, and safeguarding patient confidentiality. Additionally, your calm demeanor will be vital in stressful situations while ensuring seamless communications across our health services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver switchboard and locating services with respect
• Monitor alarm panels and initiate emergency codes
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Engage professionally with staff and the public
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication records
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Typing skills of 30 wpm with 90% accuracy
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills
• Availability for all shifts including weekends and holidays
