Commercial Locksmith – Sales Focused Jobs in Henderson, NV at Vegas Valley Locking Systems
We are looking for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial Locksmith to rebuild and grow our locksmith department from the ground up. This is a hands-on technical role with a strong emphasis on sales, account acquisition, and business development. If you’re a skilled locksmith who also knows how to sell and close deals, this is an excellent opportunity to build something meaningful with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rekeys, lock picking, locking hardware installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Design and implement master key systems (including SFIC – Small Format Interchangeable Core).
- Troubleshoot and service doors, hardware, and standalone electronic access control systems.
- Conduct job walks, prepare professional estimates, and close sales with new and existing customers.
- Proactively generate and develop new accounts (commercial, multifamily, HOA, retail, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong technical locksmith experience with proven proficiency in the skills above.
- Sales-driven mindset – ability to turn service calls into ongoing accounts.
- Self-starter who can work independently and take full ownership of the department.
- Basic computer skills (estimates, emails, job tracking) – a big plus.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
