We’re hiring a Commercial Insurance Producer to join a fast-growing, multi-state independent agency with an active inbound pipeline, cross-sell opportunities from a large personal lines book, and marketing-generated leads.
This is not a cold-start role. You’ll walk into existing opportunities and have the structure, support, and lead flow to ramp quickly — while still owning your production and building a book that’s truly yours.
Compensation
- Base salary + uncapped commission
- Realistic Year 1: $100K–$150K+
- Top performers: $200K–$250K+
- Income driven by your production — no cap, no ceiling
What You’ll Work With
- Inbound commercial opportunities from an established pipeline
- Cross-sell opportunities from a large existing personal lines book
- Marketing-generated leads delivered consistently
- Multi-state platform with national reach
Pipeline mix: ~75% supported pipeline, ~25% self-generated
Location & Schedule
This role is based out of our Westlake Village, CA office on a hybrid schedule.
- Office: 650 Hampshire Rd, Ste 100, Westlake Village, CA 91361
- Split your time between in-office collaboration and remote work
- Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility
Note: We also have an office in Farragut, TN — if you’re based in the Knoxville area, ask us about that location.
A Day in the Life
- Working in/bound commercial leads — discovery, quoting, presenting solutions, closing
- Identifying cross-sell opportunities from existing personal lines clients
- Managing your pipeline in our CRM with consistent follow-up
- Generating ~25% of your book through referrals, networking, and outreach
- Collaborating with our service team on submissions, renewals, and account rounding
What We’re Looking For
- Active California P&C license required
- 2+ years commercial insurance production experience (BOP, GL, Workers’ Comp, Umbrella, E&O preferred)
- Proven ability to manage and close a pipeline
- Comfortable with prospecting and self-generation
- Driven by performance and income — not looking for a service desk role
- Strong communicator who can build trust quickly with business owners
- Self-directed — comfortable working in a hybrid environment
