Overview:
Peak Cellars is located on a 7-acre property in Lake Country, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn’t the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro. We are looking for part-time Commercial Industrial Cleaner to join our incredible team of wine and food lovers.
Role type: Seasonal, full-time
Reports into: Housekeeping Supervisor
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Commercial Industrial Cleaner include:
Using necessary solvents and chemicals in order to effectively remove dirt and stains.
Power washing windows and frames.
Cleaning walls, door frames, and baseboards.
Remove stains and spots such as paint, caulking splashes, and adhesive residue.
Proper disposal of debris and trash.
Complying with all safety policies and procedures.
Respond to cleanup requests as necessary.
Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
Other duties as needed.
The ideal candidate has:
Previous custodian, janitorial or housekeeping experience is required.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Capable of working independently, as well as, in a team environment.
Demonstrate a high attention to detail.
Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support.
WHMIS Certification.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend and walk during daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time and climb ladders.
Successful candidates are required to have personal reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.
Candidates must successfully complete orientation.

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour plus gratuities
