QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Drive new commercial accounts through high-volume outbound cold calling, prospecting, networking, telemarketing lead follow-up, target marketing, and business development.
  • Consistently meet daily and weekly sales quotas (calls per day, leads generated, appointments set).
  • Build and maintain strong commercial client relationships, prioritizing customer service to drive referrals and repeat business.
  • Foster long-term accounts by offering diverse service packages, such as leak repairs, preventative maintenance, flashing upgrades, fit-outs, coatings, and small replacements.
  • Represent the company across a range of contacts, including clients, architects, consultants, property managers, building owners, general contractors (GCs), and other targeted client groups.
  • Conduct in-person client meetings and on-site inspections (typically one to two days a week) to assess needs, scope work, and present service solutions.
  • Log leads and maintain accurate records in the company CRM.
  • Experience or familiarity with the construction industry is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have at least 2 years of inside-sales and cold-calling experience.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish is preferred.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling, consistently meeting quotas, and handling rejection.
  • Available for in-person client meetings in the field one to two days a week, at client locations across the tri-county area.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills, especially oral/verbal: speaks confidently, listens actively, and handles objections.
  • Basic technical/CRM/data-entry ability: comfortable using call systems, logging leads, and updating the CRM.
  • Uses critical thinking and logic to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Able to work independently with a strong work ethic.
  • Professional, business-appropriate presentation for client meetings and site visits.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Employment is contingent on a background check; results are reviewed individually based on their relevance to the position.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent (i.e., GED).
  • Formal training or coursework in sales, marketing, or communications is a plus.

About Us:

Florida Construction Services is a general contractor based in South Florida with over 20 years of commercial experience in the construction restoration field. We service the tri-county area and are seeking a Commercial Construction Sales Representative to grow our business.

This is a full-time, in-office sales role based at our Sunrise office, with in-person client meetings in the field typically one to two days a week. Outbound calling is central to the role: your day-to-day is high-volume prospecting and relationship-building by phone, with a clear focus on hitting daily and weekly sales quotas. You’ll work alongside the team that delivers our commercial restoration and remodeling projects, helping fuel the company’s growth by bringing in new work and earning repeat business.

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and self-motivated, thrives on the phone, consistently meets quotas, and is comfortable meeting clients on-site as needed.
