Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial and public spaces. The ideal candidate will ensure that facilities are safe, sanitary, and welcoming for employees, clients, and visitors. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks with attention to detail, contributing to a positive environment. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to ensure optimal results
Experience
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable with good time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.43-$26.50 per hour
